Alghero Cheap Flights - AHO

Alghero Airport (AHO) is an international flight facility located about 5 miles from Alghero, Sardinia. Locals also refer to the facility as Fertilia Airport, taking that name from a nearby town. The Italian island of Sardinia is served by a total of three airports. Six airlines operate flights to and from the airport: Air One, Bmibaby, Ryanair, Thomson Airways, transavia.com, and TUIfly Nordic. Of these carriers, half of them are low-cost airlines providing cheaper fares on flights to Alghero Airport (AHO). They fly from many of the surrounding cities in Europe, such as London, Madrid and Paris, as well as a variety of cities in Italy.

The airport has a modest selection of shops and cafes for passengers to spend time in while waiting for a flight. There is also an ATM machine as well as a tourist information booth.

Travelers arriving at the airport can either take a public bus, a taxi, or rent a car in order to reach their final destination. Although taking a bus is by far the most affordable option, it is recommended to rent a car to more fully explore the beautiful island.
