Also known as Heydar Aliyev International Airport (GYD), Baku Airport (BAK) is a bustling airport. Located 25km from downtown Baku. As the premiere airport in the region, Baku Airport (BAK) provides numerous international flights to a variety of destinations through world airlines such as British Airways, Emirates Airways and Lufthansa Airlines, as well as domestic carriers to local destinations.

The busy airport is notorious for long security lines, so passengers are advised to plan ahead.
