Close to shops, and with excellent transport links, this is as close as a centre that you will find in Bangkok. For good rate hotels you might try A-One for an uninspiring but comfortable sleep or Sawasdee Sukhumvit Inn for a little more character. Further south of Sukhumvit road lies the party and financial district of Bangkok, an ideal location if you don’t want to travel far at night.
