If you’re arriving at Berlin Tegel International Airport (TXL) you can rent from one of the many local and international companies operating from the airport terminal including Sixt, AutoEurope, Avis, National, Alamo, Budget and Europcar. Travelers should collect their baggage and follow the signs to the rental car area located near Terminal D. All of these companies also operate branches at Berlin’s Schönefeld Airport (SXF) located 18 kilometers from the city center. Rental counters are located across the passenger pick up area from Terminal A.
If you’re already in town, Enterprise, Hertz, Europcar and several local and other internationally recognized agencies have rental branches across the city and some will arrange pick-up and drop-off. Useful branch locations include Enterprise Tiergarten (Franklinstrasse 14) and Europcar Main Railway Station (Europaplatz 1).
