Major Australian airlines offering cheap tickets to Brisbane include Jetstar, Qantas and Virgin Blue. Brisbane Airport is split into an international and a domestic terminal. However, domestic flights occasionally depart from the international terminal and international flights depart from the domestic terminal so it is important to double check which terminal your flight is scheduled from. The terminals are about two kilometers apart but are not connected by a pedestrian walkway, making the AirTrain the best way to transfer between terminals.

CoachTrains will also take you to the center of the city and the Gold Coast for a similar price to the AirTrain but fares are substantially cheaper if you buy a return ticket.
