Calicut Cheap Flights - CCJ

Calicut International Airport (CCJ) is one of three international airports in Kerala. Located in Karippur of the Malappuram district, it is also known as Karippur Airport. The facility is situated 16 miles from the Calicut Railway Station and 17 miles from the town of Manjeri.

The airport’s two-story terminal is simple and practical, with views of the distant hills and valleys seen from the inside. It offers visitors a range of facilities, including fast-food restaurants, an Internet café, a post office, foreign exchange counters, a tourism information desk, a jewelry store and a handicrafts stall. ITDC and Flemingo sell duty-free items such as liquors and cosmetics. Passengers with long layovers can use the leather lounge chairs to catch some shuteye before departure.

Five domestic operators use Calicut International Airport (CCJ), with direct flights to Bangalore, Chennai, Cochin, Coimbatore, Delhi, Goa, Mangalore, Mumbai and Trivandrum. These are Air India, Air India Express, Indian Airlines, JetLite and Kingfisher Airlines.

The international carriers that have flights to Calicut International Airport (CCJ) are Etihad Airways (for Abu Dhabi), Al Ain, Air India Express (many Middle Eastern routes), Emirates (Dubai), Indian Airlines (many Middle Eastern routes), Air Arabia (for Sharjah), Air India (Dammam and Riyadh), Oman Air (Muscat) and Qatar Airways (Doha).
