Located in the Union Territory of Chandigarh, India, Chandigarh Airport (IXE) is 12km from the center of Chandigarh. It will soon become a part of Chandigarh International Airport. It is located in the suburb of Mohali in Chandigarh. The new airport will have an International Terminal and renovations will be done on the current Domestic terminal. It will have 3 link taxiways and a parallel taxi track, among other additions.

The airport is small and clean and is not often crowded. As well, it has a restaurant and a kiosk for the State Bank of Patiala.
