Centrally located, Columbus Metropolitan Airport (CSG) is four miles north and east of Columbia’s central business district. Columbia is one of the top three largest cities in Georgia. It is about 15 miles from the military community Fort Benning.

Basic facilities such as toilets and payphones are available inside the clean and modern airport. Free Wi-Fi connection is offered inside the passenger terminal. Visitors can also enjoy a cup of coffee or light meals at the Propellers restaurant upon their arrival.

Several car rental companies operate inside Columbus Metropolitan Airport (CSG), including Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz and National. Their kiosks are located across the baggage claim area on the ground level. For visitors who do not wish to rent a car, other transportation options are available. The taxi lane is located on the far east side of the terminal. For a bus into town, there is a Metra city bus stop at the Wal-mart located in the Airport Thruway at the northwest corner of the airport.

Many hotels can be found within five miles of the airport, including Comfort Inn, Best Western, Days Inn, Howard Johnson, TownePlace Suites, La Quinta Inn, Micotel, Doubletree and Sleep Inn. The Landings, Windsor Park and Simon Terrace shopping centers are also nearby.

Delta Air Lines and its ASA (Atlantic Southeast Airlines) Connection provide flights to Columbus Metropolitan Airport (CSG).
