Elat Cheap Flights - ETH

One of Israel’s smaller domestic airports, Eilat Airport (ETH) mostly handles providing transportation for locals and travelers alike to larger cities within the country. A few different international flights use the facilities, though the short runway precludes larger aircraft from arriving and departing from there. Located just a short drive from Eliat proper, the airport is a small and easy-to-navigate building, with spacious waiting area, a few different restaurants to choose from, ATMs, and a pharmacy.

Eilat Airport (ETH) is a focus city for two different airlines: Arkia Israel Airlines and Israir Airlines. Both offer service daily to Haifa and Tel Aviv, with over a million different passengers making their way through the airport yearly. However, the busiest days are usually towards the end of the week. El Al also flies to the airport, operating shuttle service to and from Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion International Airport.

For travelers who plan on exploring more of Israel than its larger cities, a flight to Eilat seems to make perfect sense to get off of the beaten path. With flight times clocking in at under an hour from Tel Aviv and Haifa, it is also far more convenient for travelers to fly to Eilat Airport (ETH) than to rent a car and attempt to drive.
