Sometimes referred to by its full name of Erie International Airport/Tom Ridge Field (ERI), this regional Pennsylvania airport is located around eight kilometers from downtown Erie and is one of the fastest growing airports in America.
The airport does not handle any direct international air traffic but flights from Erie International Airport (ERI) connect with US regional hubs Detroit, Cleveland and Philadelphia.
For arriving passengers the choices for getting into the city of Erie include the local bus system which offers two regular routes into the city. There are also a large number of car rental company counters, plus private and hotel shuttle services, limousines, and taxis standing by at the rank in front of the terminal.
