Nearly half a million passengers go through Fez Airport (FEZ) each year, arriving in the city known for its sights, culture, art and cuisine. The relatively small yet modern airport is less than 14 kilometers south of the city, and is directly on the major road N-8 towards the region of Ifrane and Azrou. Also known as Saiss Airport, it offers visitors basic facilities such as restrooms and payphones, as well as cash machines and a couple of restaurants and shops.

A bus shuttle service to the Fez train station departs every 30 to 40 minutes. Passengers can also flag down taxis to bring them into the heart of the city.
