 | | Frankfurt Airport: Willkommen! | | | Both terminals have many food and beverage options. The airport also boasts a post office and a host of shops, including a marketplace in Terminal 2. Many shops are open 24 hours. A 24-hour medical clinic and manned information counters, as well as touch-screen information terminals, are also available.
Frankfurt airport is situated 13 kilometers southwest of the city. Public taxis and buses are easily found outside the arrivals hall. Road access to Frankfurt is quick and easy via the Autobahn.
The regional railway station connecting to Frankfurt is located below Terminal 1. A station for long-distance trains to Stuttgart, Cologne and beyond is located across the Autobahn and linked to the terminal by a connecting walkway.
For transit passengers, the Sheraton Hotel is connected to the Terminal 1 building. As well, more than 20 hotels are located close by, many offering free shuttle services from the airport.
A note for travelers from the UK: Ryan Air flights from the UK do not land at Frankfurt Airport but at the Frankfurt-Hahn airport located about 100 kilometers out of the city. | | | |  | | |
