Harare Cheap Flights - HRE

Serving nearly 600,000 passengers every year, the Harare International Airport (HRE) is the largest airport in Zimbabwe and has the longest airstrip on the African continent. An important aviation hub for Africa, the Harare International Airport (HRE) plays an essential role for business and tourism in Zimbabwe and also handles large volumes of cargo annually. With many appointed African and international airlines operating from this airport, Africa and beyond is made accessible to many passengers. Airlines include South African Airways, Air Malawi, Air Zimbabwe, Ethiopian Airline, Air Botswana, Air Zambezi, and British Airways.
Although the domestic terminal is quite plain with upgrades required in some sections like the bathrooms, the international terminal has been built to accommodate far greater numbers of passengers in the years to come, and is a very nice, very clean and very pleasant facility. The immigration staff is happy and helpful and although there are limited services available, passengers can dine, shop and even mail a postcard when they arrive. There is also currency exchange but many travelers wait until they reach their hotel or a bank downtown.
Taxis are conveniently located and affordable but Avis, Europcar and Budget have outlets for those wanting a rental vehicle. There are no hotels within the immediate proximity but downtown, passengers can choose between some good hotels including the Crowne Plaza and Sheraton.
