Harbin Cheap Flights - HRB

Harbin Taiping International airport (HRB) is an important international hub in the North East of China and handles 6,000,000 passengers a year with a mixture of domestic and international traffic. Domestic flights operate from most major cities in China and direct international flights come from Japan, Russia, South Korea and Hong Kong. The airport has separate, but linked terminals for domestic and international passengers and caters for travellers from 40 domestic and international destinations.
Harbin Taiping International airport (HRB) is 33 kms from Harbin City and there are plenty of taxis and shuttle buses to take you to the city. Be sure to get into a registered taxi as touts also operate in the terminal building. A typical taxi fare downtown is between $12 and $16. The shuttle bus is much cheaper at around $3-$5 but not always as flexible or convenient with the drop-off points
If you are feeling hungry or thirsty whilst in Harbin Taiping International airport (HRB), a simple fare can be found in the Terminal building (level 2) or an authentic Dongbei (Northeast China) speciality buffet is available on level 3 There are some shops selling locally produced goods in the Domestic departure hall. In the International departure hall there is a Duty free shop.
