Hilo Cheap Flights - ITO

The Hilo International Airport (ITO) is the smallest of five major airports serving the state of Hawaii in the United States of America. Located on Hawaii Island it provides relatively easy access to major destinations throughout the state.
Unfortunately, the airport does have direct flights to destinations on the mainland of North America and instead only receives domestic traffic from the major Hawaiian Airlines that provide connections to other Hawaiian cities. Tourism is not as popular in the areas of Hilo and Puna (both close to the airport) as much of the rest of the state, resulting in the Hilo International Airport (ITO) operating at substantially under capacity in regard to passenger traffic. This means that there is very little congestion or delays when trying to move through the airport, including very short lines for baggage claim, customs and check in.
Despite a smaller amount of traffic the airport maintains the reasonable facilities and amenities that can be expected of most North American airports and is designed to handle international visitors. Taxi services are available at the Hilo International Airport (ITO) and can take you to many destinations on the east side of the major island of Hawaii.
