La Ceiba Cheap Flights - LCE

There are four international airports operating in the Central American Republic of Honduras. One of which is the Goloson International Airport (LCE) La Ceiba, which is located on the north coast of the country.

Also known as La Ceiba International, the airport is about 4 miles southwest of the city in the town of Bontillo. Upon landing, visitors will be treated to a breathtaking view of the forest and mountains that fringe the airport’s border. Warm sunlight streams through the nearly floor-to-ceiling windows, promising a day full of fun and adventure.

There are taxis available outside the terminal. There are also regular bus trips from the airport to the city through Carretera Pavimentada Principal.

There are direct flights to Goloson International Airport (LCE) La Ceiba from Utila, Roatan, Tegucigalpa, Puerto Lempira, San Pedro Sula and Ahuas. Several airlines serve these routes, including Aerolineas Sosa, Air Hamburg, Cayman Airways, Islena Airlines, Lacsa and Taca International Airlines. Flights to Cayman Islands and several cities in the Honduras are available from La Ceiba. Skyservice, WesJet and CanJet offer seasonal charter services to-and-from Montral, Toronto and Vancouver.

Mondays and Wednesdays are generally the busy days at the airport, especially during the high tourist season, which runs from January to June.
