 | | Touching down at Las Vegas Airport | | | Transportation from the airport into Las Vegas is easy and readily available. Taxis, limousines, buses and shuttle services all offer transport services into the city, leaving from outside the baggage claim area. Some Citizens Area Transit (CAT) buses run 24 hours a day to the strip. All of the major car rental agencies are represented at the airport’s rental car facility nearby which is accessed by a free shuttle service. It’s around five miles to the main business sector of the city and the famous Las Vegas strip is less than a mile away.
There are no hotels located at Las Vegas airport, but with the strip so close by this is not a problem. Some of the bigger hotels and casinos offer check-in facilities at the airport. Hotel-airport luggage transfers for these hotels are also available.
Terminal 1 handles more flights, but all international arrivals to Las Vegas go through Terminal 2. The terminals are connected by a free shuttle service.
All of the usual facilities can be found at Las Vegas Airport. Plenty of banks and money changing outlets and many food and beverage outlets are located throughout the two terminals. The airport also features a first aid and a medical clinic. Information counters are spread throughout the two terminals. | | | |  | | |
