Menorca Cheap Flights - MAH

During the summer months Menorca airport (MAH) is invaded as millions of holiday makers converge on the island for their two weeks in the sun. Scheduled services operate from many places in Europe—some just for the summer months and others like Iberia and Spanair throughout the year, but it is the charter flights from other European countries that dominate the runway between April and October with the UK, Germany and Scandinavia providing most of the tourists.
Menorca airport (MAH) is well set up to deal with this seasonal tourist traffic but at peak times the terminal building can be very congested. Everything you would expect to be there is in place. Plenty of food and beverages outlets and gift shops, in which to spend the last few Euros before returning home, an excellent duty free shop , and a collection of other specialist shops selling handicrafts, shoes, sweets, jewellery as well as a newsagents selling books and magazines. There is also an ATM and a bank in the terminal building.
Menorca airport (MAH) is only five kilometers from the capital city, Mahon, but as most people are heading for the beaches a little further away, most people need a taxi, a coach transfer or car hire and are all very accessible either just inside or just outside the terminal building.
