All rental car companies in Minneapolis require drivers to be at least 21 years of age, have a valid driver’s license, good driving record, and present a major credit card in his/her own name at the time of rental. Public transportation can get you from downtown Minneapolis to the airport, if you choose to drop-off your car in town. Most companies will let you pick up at one location and drop off at another in the area.
