 | | Arriving at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport | | | Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport is very easy to navigate. The concourses run alphabetically in a large rectangle. In the middle of these sits a small collection of shops laid out in a mini-mall format. Dining and shopping options exist throughout the airport near most gates. The underground tram services the terminals.
Most of the major domestic airlines offer flights to and from Minneapolis-St. Paul. Air Canada in addition to several major European airlines also provide service to the facility.
The airport is situated approximately 10 miles from downtown Minneapolis. Car rentals are available at both of the terminals. On-site car rental companies keep desks on Levels 2 and 3 of the airport. Off-site companies are located on Level 1. There are van, shuttle, taxi and limousine services available for hire at the Ground Transportation Atrium outside in the center of the terminal.
Directly behind this is the Transit Center where travelers can pick up rental cars from on-site companies. The center is also the place to catch the city buses or Light Rail Transit for transportation downtown.
Most of the major hotels in Minneapolis also have a shuttle that will pick guests up at the airport. | | | |  | | |
