Nagpur Cheap Flights - NAG

The Maharashtra region of India has a whopping eighteen airports, one of which being the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport (NAG) Nagpur. This airport is closest to the city of Nagpur and is named after the famous Indian Economist and jurist, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. The airport was recently renovated in 2005, as the city has become an important business and economic center, helping to draw more international and domestic travelers. All but one of the airlines serving the airport is a domestic carrier, including Air India, IndiGo, Jet Airways, and Kingfisher Airlines. The only international airline is Air Arabia which is a low-cost airline flying to Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates. Air India Express also offers an international flight to Dubai. In the near future more international airlines are expected to begin serving the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport (NAG) Nagpur.

There are a few services passengers can find inside the terminal building, such as a cyber café, ATM machines, a restaurant, and snack food stands. Some of the nearby hotels provide a shuttle service to pick up their guests at the airport. Of course passengers can always take a city bus, a taxi, or rent a car.
