The fourth busiest airport in all of New Zealand, Nelson Airport (NSN) is growing rapidly as travel to the country increases steadily year after year. A contemporary and ideally located airport, over a million people make their way through each year. In addition to commercial flights, Nelson Airport (NSN) also handles a great deal of private jets, most of them international. Charter flights also use the airport on a regular basis. The airport serves as the home base of Air Nelson, an extension of Air New Zealand.

Tucked into the rolling hills of New Zealand, the airport is only a short drive from the bustling center of Nelson itself. In addition to Air New Zealand, Sounds Air and Air2 also operate regularly scheduled flights to and from the airport. Popular destinations include Christchurch and Auckland, though there are also daily flights to and from Wellington and Paraparaumu.
