 | | Renting a Car in Ontario: Hit the Highway | | | If you fly into Ontario International Airport, renting a car is a breeze. From the airport, visitors have easy access to both on-site and off-site rental agencies. On-site agencies include Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National and Thrifty. To get to the on-site rental agencies, pick up a shuttle outside baggage claim that will take you to the Consolidated Rental Car Facility (ConRAC). There are many off-site rental agencies that are convenient to the airport. If you decide to rent from one of them, simply pick up their shuttle that will take you from the airport directly to their private facility. Rent-4-Less is an off-site rental agency that is worth checking out.
Ontario is fairly easy to navigate and it is served by four major freeways. North of the airport is Interstate 10 and it runs east and west through the city. South of the airport is the Pomona Freeway, which also runs east and west through the city. On the eastern side of the city is Interstate 15, which runs north and south, and on the western side of the city is State Route 83, which also runs north and south through the city. For extra navigational ease, ask your rental car agency to provide you with a GPS navigation system. | | | | | | | | | Compare Cheap Car Rentals Deals | | |
