Getting a bus into downtown San Antonio from San Antonio International Airport is very cheap but the journey takes about an hour as it winds along rural roads. If you want to travel more quickly, your best bet is to find other passengers willing to share a shuttle bus. There are also taxis and there are numerous car rental companies based around the perimeter of the airport.
