The airport is also only a short drive from downtown Toronto, and these 17 miles can go quickly. Toronto Pearson serves as a hub for a number of Canadian airlines, including Air Canada and its sister airline, Air Canada Jazz.
The airport is divided into two terminals for landing, Terminals 1 and 3.
Flights into Toronto from the United States enjoy border preclearance, which means no excessively long lines at Customs upon landing. These particular flights arrive at Terminal 1.
Among the international carries using this terminal are US Airways, United Express, Air Canada, Icelandair, Alitalia, Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines. US carriers are evenly split between Terminals 1 and 3, with American Airlines, Continental and Delta using the latter, alongside Air France, Caribbean Airlines, Finnair, Korean Air and many others. After you have collected your luggage, there are several options for getting into downtown Toronto. A number of buses, including the 192 Airport Rocket and the 58A Malton, provide travelers with transportation between the airport and Kipling Station and Lawrence West Station, respectively.
