Tromso Cheap Flights - TOS

The Tromso Airport (TOS) is located on the island of Tromsoya, Norway, and it handles the most passengers per year in all of Northern Norway. Currently there are five airlines serving the Tromso Airport (TOS): airBaltic, Nordavia, Norwegian Air Shuttle, Scandinavian Airlines, and Wideroe. The airlines fly mostly domestically, although there are international flights to London, Stockholm, and Riga. Apart from commercial airlines, there are charter airlines making use of the airport during the summer months, which only offer flights to the Mediterranean region.

The terminal, which was expanded in 1998, has eleven check-in counters and three aerobridges. Passengers will be able to find cafes, restaurants, and shops in the terminal in order to pass the time before boarding. For banking purposes there is also an ATM machine conveniently located in the terminal.

Traveling from the airport to central Tromso only takes about twenty minutes. The airport provides a shuttle service to and from the downtown area, which is very affordable. There are a few car rental agencies, including Tiger and Europcar, with offices at the airport. Otherwise passengers opt to take a taxi, which are plentiful and cheap just near to the baggage area of the Tromso Airport (TOS).
