Varanasi Cheap Flights - VNS

Also known as Babatpur Airport, Varanasi Airport (VNS) is a public airport located in the state of Uttar Pradesh, in India. The airport is located 18km northwest of the city of Varanasi. Regular flights connect to and from Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai and Calcutta.
The domestic terminal in Varanasi Airport (VNS) features a shop with silk, handicrafts and other curio as well as magazines and books. Duty-free shopping is also available, as well as a snack bar, restaurant, telephone booth and post office. Trolleys and wheel chairs are provided free of charge for those in need. Internet access is not available throughout the airport.
Passengers should be advised that only one checked bag is allowed per passenger, and more luggage may result in extra fees and possibly detainment.
Car rental service and airport bus service can be found in the domestic terminal, as well as two Tourist Information centers run by the Department of Tourism and the Government of India, respectively. A pre-paid taxi system is managed by the local police to keep prices fair. The closest hotels are located in the city of Varanasi and several of the higher quality ones can arrange airport pickup by request from Varanasi Airport (VNS).
