You can either book online ahead, or choose to talk to the agency at the airport. You’ll need your credit card, your driver’s license and International Driver’s License.
As you hire a car in Vienna, expect to pay around $50 per day for a typical car with manual transmission. There maybe additional fees for insurance and other extras. Always check the car before taking it, and double check your agency’s checklist for the car to avoid additional fees.
When booking a car rental, you can also say where you want to pick up the car, and drop it off. Discounts are usually given if you’ll be renting it for a longer time.
