West Palm Beach Cheap Hotels

Some of the best hotels are actually found close to West Palm Beach International Airport. These can suit all budgets and tastes, and can accommodate either short-stay visitors or business travelers. Among the well-known chains are the Hilton, Crown, Best Western and Hampton. As the airport is conveniently located, visitors can use it as a reference point for their vacation. Interstate 95 is right at the airport’s door step, allowing quick access to the city’s many golf courses, theme parks and shopping malls, and a short drive south to Miami.
The South Dixie Highway, the main thoroughfare through West Palm Beach, is dotted with many good hotels. Close to Flagler Drive and an easy ride across the Intracoastal Waterway to Palm Beach Island, this area is ideal for guests seeking midrange rooms. Many of the hotels here, in fact, offer apartment-style lodging, making this a great choice for families.
With the Amtrak station and the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts close by, the Clematis Street area has many excellent hotel choices, including the Hyatt. A feature of this area is that so much is within walking distance, including restaurants, shopping and nightlife.

A dense gathering of hotels can be found along Metrocenter Boulevard. These are particularly suitable for business travelers. Even so, with Spencer Lakes and Southwest Plaza nearby, this area also suits other types of visitors. There are many golf courses in this part of West Palm Beach too.
West Palm Beach is an open-plan city, and although many hotels are within walking distance to shops, restaurants, public transport options and other attractions, you might want to consider renting a car to expedite getting around.
