 | | Arriving at Winnipeg Airport – Welcome to Central Canada | | | There is no curfew at the airport so flights arrive around the clock, and the airport offers US border pre-clearance facilities.
Transportation into Winnipeg is easy to find with taxis and limousine services located near the terminal’s center doors in the arrivals terminal. Fares for taxis are fixed according to the destination. Limousines can be a very economical option compared with taxis if you are heading to a non-downtown location.
Winnipeg Transit’s bus route #15 services the airport and buses operate from 6am until 1am on most days. A Greyhound bus terminal is also located at the airport. Shuttle services are also available, both by hotels and other providers.
The airport offers a number of other facilities and amenities including a kids’ play area, chapel, currency exchange counters, baggage storage, ATMs, etc.
Shops and restaurants are available both in the public areas and a few in the post-security sections of the airport. Most shops are open from 7am till 7pm, while most of the F&B outlets open an hour earlier and close an hour later. A few are open 24 hours.
Wi-Fi Internet is also available throughout the airport.
