Ever wonder why you can’t get cheap flights on Monday and Friday? Today our Wiz will explain just why the airlines price the way they do and how to get around it.

Alternative travel days are a must if you really want that best fare. Mondays, Thursday evenings, Fridays and now, even Sunday evenings are the days most business travelers are on the road. Airlines know this and price seats accordingly.

If you really want the very best deal to 99% of the airports in the country, make plans to fly Tuesday through Thursday morning and/or Saturday with your return on those days and Sunday morning as well.

The exceptions are Las Vegas and occasionally Florida so check all dates for these destinations.
